Edward Harriman (S&B 1917) was one of the seven directors of the Union Banking Corporation along with Prescott Sheldon Bush (S&B 1917), father of future U.S. President George H.W. Bush (S&B 1948) and George W. Bush (S&B 1968), which financed the Nazi Party and whose assets were seized by the United States government during World War II under the Trading with the Enemy Act and Executive Order No. 9095.[1]

1954 to 1973 - Chairman of American Red Cross[1,6]

1927, Joined the business and the name was changed to Harriman Brothers & Company.

1917 - Graduated Yale, Skull and Bones Patriarch

Died 16 Feb 1978. Age 82. Event + 14y2m26d ( 5,201 days )
