1927 to 1929 - Served as President Pro Tempore to President Calvin Coolidge (Relative Joseph Coolidge, was a partner of Russell and Co.[William Huntingdon Russell co-founded S&B].[2]

1925 to 1929 - Member of the Connecticut Senate.[2]

1925 to 1928 - Chairman of the Connecticut Water Commission.[2]

1923 to 1928 - President of the Connecticut Board of Fisheries and Game.[2]

1920 to 1948, Member of the advisory committee of the Human Welfare Group of Yale University.

1919, Representative to Paris Peace Conference as expert on Polish relief needs.[2]

1918, in France and Italy negotiating war loans.[2]

WW1 - 1917 to 1919 - Walcott served with the United States Food Administration as assistant to Director, Herbert Hoover (Bohemian).[2]

1915 to 1916 - Representative Rockefeller Foundation to investigate conditions in Belgium and Poland.[2]

1909 to 1918 - Partner William Bonbright & Company.[2]

1907 to 1909 - Vice-President Knickerbocker Trust Company.[2]

Note: Panic of 1907, started with J.P.Morgan spreading rumours about a competitor, the Knickbocker Trust Company, one of the largest financial institutions at the time.[4]

1907 to 1915 - Investment Banker and manufacturer in New York City.[2]

14 Feb 1899 - Married Frances Dana Archbold. Died the same year.

1891 - Graduated Yale, Skull and Bones Patriarch.

Died 27 Apr 1949, from arteriosclerosis. Age 80.
