President New England Pin Company of Winsted, Conn., New England Knitting Company, Peekskill National Bank, and Riverside Park Land Company.[4] Four-minute Speaker.

Had been treasurer of Mohegan Stove Company, the T. J. Maxwell Company, and the Washington Park Company.[4]

Member Cortlandt Hook and Ladder Company for many years, Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Westchester Bar Association, Society of Medical Jurisprudence, and New York Historical Society.[4]

Served on Judiciary and Military committees and as chairman of House Sugar Investigating Committee, and had presided during absence of the Speaker.[4]

Vestryman St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Peekskill.[4]

Had since practiced law in Peekskill, also having an office in New York City for a while; Republican in politics.[4]

1920 - served as chairman of Sedition Subcommittee.[4] [related to Lusk Committee which investigated individuals and raided organisations in New York State]

1919 - Elected director Yale Alumni Association of Westchester County.[4]

WW1 - 1918 - Member Congressional Investgation Committee in France, making a tour of the five army fronts.[4] During the war and period immediately following, sponsored several bills and movements to promote the interests of the soldiers, one of which was a bill to exempt service men from the income tax.[4] … [Search mind map. 1915 to 1923 - Representative in Congress from the 25th New York District.[4]

1903 and 1904 - President of village of Peekskill, President Drum Hill Board of Education for over ten years, and member of Board of Commerce.[4]

1895, 1896, and 1897 - Member New York General Assembly, serving on the committees on Insurance (chairman in 1897), General Laws, and Public Education.[4]

1894 - LL.B. New York Law School following his admission to New York Bar, was connected with legal department of Mutual Life Insurance Company for a time.[4]

1892 - Graduated Yale, Skull and Bones Patriarch.[1]

Died 2 Jan 1925, from Heart Disease. Age 54.[4]

FYI - Father … James William Husted, Freemason.[6] Yale University. Lawyer and Politician, elected six times as Speaker of the New York State Assembly during his 22 years of service there. During his political career, he became known as the “Bald Eagle of Westchester”.
