Nelson Rockefeller’s executive assistant for 30 years, since 1944 , fell to her death from a 10th story New York apartment on July 3,1974.[1] At the time, as a consequence of Watergate, Rockefeller was being considered for the Vice-Presidency.[2]
Accusations had been made that he [Rockefeller] had been involved in the illegal removal of gold from Ft. Knox. It’s believed that Mrs. Boyer supplied the investigators with this information.[2]

Reported in 1981, by Boston Globe … “There’s is no doubt in my mind that the gold is gone,” Beter told GLOBE. “Between November 1973, and April 1974, millions of ounces of gold were drained out of Fort Knox by a handful of international speculators, including American Bankers, with the blessing of the U.S. Treasury.” Beter believes the gold was spirited away in Army trucks in the dead of night, shipped to New York City, and then flown to Switzerland and the Netherlands. He claims it was illegally sold to European sources for the bargain prices of $42 an an ounce - one quater the going rate at the time.
15 August 15 1971 - President Nixon closed the gold window, thus severing the final link between the US dollar and gold. The removal of the restraint of gold redemption freed the Federal Reserve to engage in more inflationary monetary policy than ever and was followed by the petroldollar.

1942 - First huband, Capt. Edward M. Robbins of the Army Air Forces, was killed in action in Europe.

Daughter of Mr and Mrs Gordon Auchincloss.[1]
Leaves two sons, Edward H. Robbins of Washington and Gordon A. Robbins of New York. A step daughter, Mrs. John Parkinson, Edward H. Auchincloss of New York, and two grand-children.[1]
NOTE: Granddaughter of Col. House, the man who guided the Federal Reserve Act through Congress way back in 1913, for J.P. Morgan, the Rockefellers, and Henry Warburg and company. Although to date it has not been determined whether there was a relationship, Jackie Kennedy’s father was Hugh Auchincloss. It is also known that Jackie’s grandfather helped John D. Rockefeller found Standard Oil.**
