John Crosby Jr. (S&B 1890)

Served as a director of the St. Anthony & Dakota Elevator Co., the Brown Grain Co., Barnum Grain Co., Imperial Elevator Co., St, Anthony Elevator Co. Royal Milling Co., Kahspell Milling Co and Rocky Mountain Elevator Co.[7]

One of the original trustees of the William Hood Dunwoody Industrial Institute.[7]

Founded Northrop Collegiate School for Girls, serving on its board for 20 years, a large part of that period as President.[7]

Trustee of the Minneapolis Society of Fine Arts, Minneapolis Institute of Arts and Minneapolis Foundation.[7]

Trustee, Dunwoody Industrial Inst.[2]

Member, Federal Advisory Council (DC).[2] ( a body composed of representatives chosen by each of the twelve Federal Reserve Banks that “consults with and advises the Board on all matters within the Board’s jurisdiction”)

1894 to 1948 - Member, Minneapolis City Council.[4]

Married Margaret Hastings.[2]
