American Television Journalist and lawyer who appeared for more than 16 years as the longest-serving moderator of NBC’s Meet the Press.

8 Feb 2004 - Interviewed George W. Bush (S&B 1968) asking about ‘Skull and Bones’

Died 13 June 2008, Heart Attack. Russert collapsed at the offices of WRC-TV, which houses the Washing D.C. bureau of NBC News where he was chief. Age 58.
