Member New York Pathological Society, Medical Society of the County of New York, Harvey Society, Association of American Physicians, American Heart Association, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Therapeutic, Army Ordnance, Boone and Crockett, and Tourilh Fish and Game clubs, American Legion, and Brick Presbyterian Church, New York City.[4]

Had served as consulting physician New York Infirmary for Women and Children, Perth Amboy (N J.) General Hospital, Nyack (NY) Hospital, and Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital.[4]

1928, 1933 to 1939 - President Roosevelt Pilgrimage.[4]

1927 to 1930 - Chairman Mayor’s Committee on Narcotic Addiction and 1928 to 1930, member state commission on the same subject.[4]

1919 to 1920 - President American Medical Association (Chairman Section on Practice of Medicine, 1903 to 1904, third Vice-President 1909, Member House of Delegates 1911, and Chairman Judicial Council 1912 to 1918).[4]

Since 1929 - Trustee The United Hospital Fund of New York honorary member governing board, The American Hospital of Paris.[4]

Author: The Relation of Alcohol to Disease (1915), and a frequent contributor to medical journals.[4]

1923 - President Committee to Study the Tobacco Problem a pioneer worker in the United States toward legislative control of narcotics, much credit is due him for activities leading to the passage of the Harrison Law and other statutes.[4] by

Since 1921, Trustee, since 1937, Vice-President Roosevelt Memorial Association, Inc (member committee on awards since 1933).[4]

Treasurer 1906 to 1917 and President 1917 to 1918 Medical Society of the State of New York, fellow New York Academy of Medicine.

1898 to 1931 - Professor of clinical medicine, attending physician, Fourth Medical Division, Bellevue Hospital, 1894-1934, chairman organization committee, Doctors’ Hospital, and president medical board since 1930.[4]

1898 to 1905 - Instructor in physical diagnosis Cornell University Medical College.[4]

1898 to 1899 - Professor of medicine Woman’s Medical College of the New York Infirmary for Women and Children.[4]

23 Apr 1895, Married in New York City, Ellen Waitstill, daughter of Knight Dexter Cheney (S&B 1860) and Ednah (Dow) Cheney, and sister of Knight D Cheney (S&B 1892), Clifford D Cheney (S&B 1898), Philip Cheney (S&B 1901), Thomas L Cheney (S&B 1901), and Russell Cheney (S&B 1904)**. No children Mrs Lambert died 13 Jan 1938.[4]

1892 to 1894 - Did work in bacteriology in New York City, had engaged in the practice of medicine in New York City since 1894.

1890 to 1892 - Studied in Vienna and Berlin [4]

1889 to 1890 - Resident physician Midwifery Dispensary.[4]

1888 to 1889 - house physician, Fourth Medical Division, Bellevue Hospital.[4]

1884 - Graduated Yale, Skull and Bones Patriarch.[1]

Died 9 May 1939, from Myocarditis. Age 77.[4]
