1933 - named district chairman of the thirteen committees appointed in Second Federal Reserve District by Deposit Liquidation Board of Reconstruction Finance Corporation to speed liquidation of assets of closed state and national banks.
1904 to 1915, Vice-President, 1916 to 1921, President, 1921 to 1942, Chairman New York Trust Company (formed by merger of Continental Trust Company and New York Security & Trust Company).

George Bowen Case (S&B 1894) 1903 - Took part in the organisation of Bankers Trust and firm continued to be general counsel.[5]

Benjamin Strong Jr. 1914 - President, Bankers Trust Co.
1909 - Became Vice President, Bankers Trust Co. 1904 - Secretary of Bankers Trust. Despite technically having numerous stockholders, the voting power as held by three associates of J.P.Morgan. Thus it was widely viewed as a Morgan Company.
