15 Dec 1971, Jackson’s widow gave his papers to the Eisenhower Presidential Library. These documents revealed that he had been working as a CIA agent since 1948. [2]

1953 - Served on the Presidents’ Committee on International Information Activities (President Dwigth D. Eisenhower).[2]
During 1953 and 1954, C. D. Jackson was key in establishing the Bilderberg Group and ensuring American participation. He attended meetings of the group in 1954, 1957, 1958, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964.[4]
1951 to 1952 - Served as President of the Free Europe Committee.[2]
1949 - Frank Wisner (Seven Society. CIA) established Operation Mockingbird, a program to influence the domestic American media.[5] Wisner asked Philip Graham of the Washington Post to run the project within the newspaper industry. Jackson was also recruited and according to Deborah Davis (Katharine the Great: Katharine Graham and the Washington Post: “By the early 1950s, Wisner ‘owned’ respected members of the New York Times, Newsweek, CBS and other communications vehicles.”[2]

1944 to 1945 - he was Deputy Chief at the Psychological Warfare Division (SHAEF).[2]
WW2 - 1943 to 1945, Joined the Office of Strategic Services (OSS).[2]
