WW1 - United States Ordnance Department

The broad mission of the Ordance Corps is to supply Army combat units with weapons and ammunition. To support the development, production, acquisition and sustainment of weapon systems, ammunition, missiles, electronics, and ground moblility during peace and war. A critical component of army logistics.

No disrespect for honorable servicemen and women is intended.

WW1 - Stanley Kuhl Hornbeck (Rhodes 1904. Freemason) - U.S. Army Ordnance and Military Intelligence. Later, he would become a colonel.

Samuel Gourdin Gaillard Jr. (S&B 1916) - 1st Lieut, Ord Dept AEF.

Alfred Milner Cressler (S&B 1902) 1919 to 1920 - Assistant Secretary Ordnance Claims Board. 1918 - Served in Cincinnati District, Small Arms Production Division, Ordnance Department.

1917 to 1919 - John Sylvester Reilly (S&B 1915) - Capt. Ordance.

1917 to 1919 - Francis T. Boyd (S&B 1912) - Capt, 2nd Mobile Ordinance Repair Unit, 2nd Div AEF.

2 Jul 1917 to Jan 1918 - Maitland Fuller Griggs (S&B1896) - Commissioned Captain, Ordnance, promoted Lieutenant Colonel.
- Chief, Advisory Section, Ordnance Department, and member Compensation Board and Ordnance Claims Board.

Donald Robertson Hyde (S&B1912) - Col. Artillery, Ordnance.

Henry Abott Street (S&B 1912) - Capt, Ordnance Dept AEF.

Mortimer Ashmfad Seabury (S&B 1909) - AUS Ordnance.

Clifford Dudley Cheney (S&B 1898) - Lt. Col., Ord. Dept., AEF.
